I was a CSM at the Walmart Super Center on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith for three years. I also substitue taught as I worked my way through college. Plus, my horses/barrel racing paid for much of my college needs.
I married my husband, Buck Hitcher, on June 26, 2004. We have two boys. Logan is 8 years old and will be in third grade this year at Ozark. Levi is 6 years old and will be starting kindergarten at Ozark this year. We live on the edge of my dad's farm in Mulberry. We have cattle, horses, goats, dogs and cats. Our main passion, outside of school, is rodeoing. The boys and I spend many hours in the practice arena working on their events.
My husband and I haul our boys all over the place going to Junior Rodeos. Both boys run barrels, poles, flags, and goats. The goal is to qualify them for the Little Britches National Finals in July of each year.
When we are not rodeing, we love to take road trips, visit amusement parks, and go swimming and hiking.
If I get any solo time I love to read.
